Wine & Wags is an ”after work” program that provides individuals and businesses an opportunity to learn more about Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN), and the work we are doing for inmates and individuals living with a disability. The evening is inspirational and filled with stories about ICAN dogs changing lives on both ends of the leash. Testimonials and videos are presented by ICAN clients, former inmate handlers, correctional staff and members from the community.
The program is only two hours long, takes place from 5:15pm to 7:30pm and includes light appetizers, wine & non-alcoholic beverages. There is no fee to attend and there is no obligation to donate, however, guests are asked to make a contribution to ICAN at the end of the program. Our goal is to raise more than $160,000 and we need YOUR help to make that happen!
Wine & Wags success is due to our sponsors and table hosts who bring eight to ten guests who are interested in learning more about us! Would YOU consider HOSTING a table for this year’s event? Invite your co-workers, neighbors, friends and family, and if you don’t think you can fill a table, then consider asking someone to co-host it with you! If you would like to be a host or help sponsor this program, please be sure to contact firstname.lastname@example.org for additional info.
We will be providing all hosts a detailed orientation on what your role will be on Thursday, September 19th from 5:15-7pm (along with some appetizers) at the Biltwell Event Center so HOLD THAT DATE if you will be hosting a table! If you are unable to attend the orientation, we will have one of our committee members contact you with host details.
(*The Biltwell is a beautifully restored warehouse located five minutes southwest of downtown with plenty of free parking)
