Want to request an ICAN speaker for your next event or teaching moment? Kid- and adult-friendly, our speakers focus on ICAN’s service to the greater Indiana community. We explain our extensive ICAN model that's based on positive reinforcement, including exactly what service dogs can be trained to do.
Another presentation focus is the social benefit to our community. We teach students, teachers, and employees about interacting with service dogs and their companions, as well as the multiple benefits of using carefully chosen incarcerated handlers as dog trainers.
Our presenters will provide an informative and educational experience about our mission for any community audience.

There is no charge for presentations within the greater Indianapolis area, but we always welcome donations or gift cards. For speaking engagements taking place outside of Indianapolis, we charge a mileage and per diem fee to cover costs, and the amount is based on the location and length of the presentation.
Please submit your request at least 60 days prior to the requested date. To help us determine the availability of staff or volunteers as we review our schedule, a member of our team will be in touch within two business days.
